# Demand sources

> The four-tier demand waterfall and how each tier pays.

The Agentic Ad Server evaluates four demand tiers in a hard waterfall for every eligible impression.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Direct">
    Direct-sold campaigns from brand advertisers. Highest CPMs, brand-authored Spark content, priced on impressions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Programmatic">
    Programmatic demand via OpenRTB 2.x, enriched with Adgentek's conversational context extension so DSPs bid on real intent signals. Priced on impressions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="CPC feeds">
    Cost-per-click demand. Billable on filtered clicks routed through the Adgentek redirect layer. Available on every surface class.
  </Step>

  <Step title="API / CPA">
    Performance and affiliate demand billed on verified conversions. Available on every surface class, including headless ones, because the billable event does not depend on impression verification.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Eligibility by surface

Which tiers can serve depends on your integration path's rendering context. Impression-priced tiers (Direct, Programmatic) require verified client-side impressions. The full rules live in [Choosing your integration path](/publishers/choosing-your-integration-path); the measurement mechanics live in [Tracking and measurement](/publishers/concepts/tracking-and-measurement).

## Floors and quality

You set minimum CPM and quality thresholds per placement in the dashboard. Demand that clears your floor competes; demand that does not is skipped and the waterfall continues. See [Publisher controls](/publishers/concepts/publisher-controls).
